Tomb Raider: Underworld Gameplay Trailer Released

Morning Axe-Heads, Eidos just dropped a new gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider: Underworld, showing off a few new locales, including a stunning set of ruins in Thailand, and giving some brief glimpses into Laura's ongoing quest for Avalon. This time around, Ms. Croft sets out to unravel the ancient Norse legends surrounding Thor, the god of thunder (and possibly rock-n-roll). Turns out Thor's hammer is real and has the power to level mountains and kill gods. I won't ruin it for you, but the trailer shows off some truly amazing environments, some animals-of-unusual-size which no doubt will fall to Ms. Croft's dual H&K blitzkrieg, and maybe even hint at a returning character or two.

Tomb Raider: Underworld, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos, hits shelves on Nov 18th, 2008 as a simultaneous release for (get ready) the 360, DS, PC,
PS2, PS3, and Wii. Both the DS and Wii iterations will feature an exclusive archeologists toolkit "that allows players to excavate hidden areas and secrets with the aid of a compressed air gun, acetylene torch, chisel and pliers." Check out the official site for more news, screencaps, and videos.
