Mirror's Edge Release Date/Demo Announced

Looking forward to Mirror's Edge? Well, the wait won't be too long now as publisher EA and developer DICE have announced that game will ship for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2008. PC gamers will have to wait until "winter".

Additionally, a demo featuring a tutorial and a segment of the single-player campaign will be made available on both PSN and XBL "prior to launch" which will give players worldwide a sneak peek at what it's like to run on virtual rooftops with a semi-hot asian lead character.

Finally, if you pre-order the game on or after September 26 at "selected retailers" (probably means GameStop) you'll get an exclusive code that unlocks the Time Trial mode in the demo which allows you to virtually compete against the world to see who can complete the demo level the fastest.
