There Are No Survivors: New Dead Space Site is "Live"

For all you Axe-heads stoically awaiting the arrival of EA's Dead Space, their utterly disturbing marketing campaign continues. NoKnownSurvivors.com, a new game tie-in site, just went up giving visitors a taste of the back story and thoroughly creepy vibe of this new title. The site prominently features nine dismembered body parts floating in space, each of which represent a new piece of content that will be unveiled during the nine week run-up to the game's release. Registered users can also participate in a series of quiz challenges and compete for one of a hundred copies of Dead Space to be given away.

The first installment, Misplaced Affection: Injured, is up now and ties into the already established backstory. Check out the game's official site, for more info and a series of animated-comics detailing the woeful events leading up to Dead Space. Turn out the lights and watch them all in one sitting for maximum effect. Dead Space will scare the living crap out of people everywhere on October 21st for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
