Since vacationing in the burned out, radiation-infested husk that is post-nuclear-apocolypse Washington D.C. has always been at the very top of my bucket list, Bethesda made my day earlier when they dropped the good news that Fallout 3 is making its way to store shelves on October 28th 2008.
Originally in development at Black Isle Studios, its been a somewhat problematic road to release for Fallout 3. Black Isle was shuttered before the game could be completed when parent company Interplay all but went belly-up in 2004. Bethesda snatched up the license shortly-thereafter and began crafting the latest installment to the dystopian franchise from scratch.
Promising one of the "biggest launches of any game released this year", Bethesda will finally drop this hotly-anticipated title for 360, PC, and PS3 October 28th in North America and Europe on October 31st. Check out the official site for news, previews, and more fun stuff. Stay sharp Axe-heads.
