EA Terminates Discussions With Take-Two

Drama. It makes the world go 'round. No shortage of it this morning in the gaming world as mega publisher EA has announced that it has ceased acquisition discussions with Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two. You probably recall that EA initially offered to purchase the company for $2 billion over half a year ago and as recently as August agreed to enter formal discussions with Take-Two management.

Well, after "careful considerations", EA is moving on, telling Take-Two to talk to the hand and looking to continue its conquest of earth elsewhere....
