New Prince of Persia Dated, Detailed

Today Ubisoft announced that the highly-anticipated return of the Prince of Persia franchise will be taking place when the game ships December 2, 2008 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The game, which won critical acclaim for its showing at this year's E3, will also be subtitled "The Fallen King" and will feature a fresh Illustrative art style, evolved combat system, open world structure and dynamic AI (most notably in the form of the Prince's (super hot) ally Elika.

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to pounce into action this December!!!

Ubisoft Upgrades Prince of Persia Pre-Orders to Limited Edition

'Lo Axe Heads, sharpen thine blades and ready thy wall-running slippers. Destructiod brings us word that Ubisoft has announced all North American pre-orders for their new Prince of Persia title will be upgraded to the Limited Edition of the game for free. From the press release:

• An exclusive look at the making of Prince of Persia

Ubisoft also states that they will partner with Penny Arcade on a 32-page comic book, giving readers a unique look into the characters and relationships of the new PoP game.
