WipeOut is one of those franchises that people just seem to like. The original game was AMAZING and the series has done a respectful job of keeping up over the years. So, it's no surprise that we at the Axe are excited about the release of
WipeOut HD on the PlayStation 3. Until today we didn't have any details, but lo' and behold, we now know you can take to the starting line on September 25, 2008 and that the game will cost $20. Kinda pricey, but you'll be getting 8-player online racing, splitscreen racing for two players offline, 8 different tracks and a kick-ass soundtrack amongst other things.
Good enough for me;)
