Gamesindustry.biz reports that publisher EA has announced half-a-million registered users for their new MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. After just one week on sale, EA states WAR is now the fastest selling MMO ever.
Judging from developer Mythic Entertainment boss Mark Jacob's latest blog post, they reached that figure despite banning a whole grock-load of gold sellers. He says that by Saturday night (three days into release) his "strike team" had already ferreted out and banned 400 such players.
Whether its Order vs. Destruction or Mythic vs. Goldspammers, for the time being the slaughter continues on both sides of the screen for EA's new MMO. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is available now for PC.
