If you've been digging for new info on the upcoming expansion for Lord of the Rings Online (titled Mines of Moria), well then...join me as we simultaneously scream JACKPOT!
Today developer Turbine announced that it's teaming up with Warner Bros. Interactive Ent. to deliver the expansion in several different ways. First, if you already have the game, you can simply get the Mines of Moria Digital Expansion and go from there. Easy enough. Secondly, if you're new to the LotRO scene, you can get The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria Complete Edition, which contains the full game, the expansion and all updates thus far. Finally, if you've leveled all the way to "Super Geek", you can go all out with the Collector's Edition of the expansion which includes everything from the Complete Edition along with goodies like in-game items, a nearly two foot cloth map of the mines, art and music collection, starter guide and a real life, gold-plated version of the infamous ring...with your very own chain and pouch.
I know what my wife is getting for Christmas...
