You've probably heard conflicting reports pertaining to the status of the upcoming Ghostbusters video game. Some say the Blizzard/Activision merger will result in several key works-in-progress from Sierra (the bastard child in the merger) being canned (including Ghostbusters), but others report these titles aren't being canned, but simply "lack a publisher" since BlizzAvision (not the official name, but I like it...) doesn't plan on publishing them itself. Well, the latest drama comes via Destructoid as a Vivendi spokesperson apparently told the robotically-operated bloggers that "It (Ghostbusters) is not cancelled and will not be cancelled".
Hmmm...Interesting. We'll continue to bring you the latest as it develops.
